About the Artist

Located in rural Coweta County just south of Atlanta, The Studio School at Three Hearts Farm is hosting a variety of courses in painting and  sketching with a strong emphasis in plein air. The Boyd Gallery and Studio is located in historic downtown Newnan and is the home base of David Boyd, Jr. Classes meet in Boyd's studio in the basement where he teaches drawing, painting and urban sketching. These classes are designed to offer opportunities for growth and to provide challenges for serious painters no matter what the skill level or age.

The Studio School  is the brainchild of professional artists and former art teachers, Meredith Wilson and David Boyd, Jr. With a combined teaching experience of over 40 years, Wilson and Boyd know how to nurture the creative spirit and how to guide students along their creative path.

2016 marked the inaugural year for The Studio School  with offerings in painting and drawing through regularly scheduled workshops and classes. Special visits from guest instructors continue to enhance the program.

We aim to give you an experience that you will never forget.
